I believe that everyone is on their own journey towards self-actualization, holistic wellness, and Optimal Growth. In this process people sometimes hit detours, get lost, or run out of motivation and require assistance to get back on track. I see myself as a guide that works synergistically with individuals to help them achieve their goals by functioning as a catalyst for change in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.
I am an integrative therapist that places a strong focus on developing insight, psychoeducation, skills development, problem solving, empowerment, self-advocacy, wellness, and positive psychology.
I hold a B.S. in Community Psychology with an emphasis in Applied Behavioral Analysis and a M.S. in Community Counseling. I am a trained sexual assault advocate and have experience working in individual, family, couples, and group counseling as well as residential treatment and psychiatric care thus am equipped with a number of skills to support a wide variety of mental and behavioral health needs.
I believe that each person is at a unique place in their journey and therefore has varying needs. I try to meet each person where they are at in their journey, and work alongside them, to help them reach their own personal goals with realistic and solution focused interventions.
