With over twenty years in Corporate Human Resources, I am gradually transitioning my career to become a Holistic Therapist, empowering others to live their best lives. I have a Bachelor’s in English Literature, a master’s Certificate in Holistic Health from St. Catherine’s University, finishing my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counselng at Adler University, my Yoga Teacher Training certification as well as training in recovery yoga, career coaching and a wealth of personal experiences that have led me to this career change.
I plan to use my Holistic Health and Mental Health master’s degrees to become a licensed Holistic Therapist (LPCC). My passions are the aging population and issues related to life’s transitions including retirement and life after “work”; divorce and financial changes; aging and acceptance; chronic illness; hoarding and overconsumption; and of course, career changes. I have a passion for resiliency, self-discovery, and the use of creative and somatic modalities to meet my client’s needs. I use elements of somatic, ecology and expressive arts to explore personal values and solidify sense-of-self in those I work with.
