I am bilingual- Spanish/English!
As a Board Approved Art Therapist, my aim is to create an active, collaborative, therapeutic relationship with my clients. They bring their life experience and self-knowledge to the therapy space and I guide them through the creative self-expression process to explore concerns, reduce symptoms, and make meaning of circumstances.
I combine Adlerian Psychology, Positive Psychology, and a multicultural, person-centered approach when serving the mental health needs of people who are experiencing anxiety, grief/loss, mood disorders, substance use disorders, trauma, or other concerns.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Board Certified Art Therapist and Board
Approved Clinical Supervisor. I received my Masters in Adlerian Counseling and Psychotherapy, with an emphasis in Art Therapy from Adler Graduate School (2014). I continue to learn and share by mentoring interns, engaging with others in the field, attending international Adlerian summer schools, and presenting at national art therapy conferences.
