I am a marriage and family therapist and have been in the mental health field for over 9 years. Here is some information about myself to help you get to know me as a person.
Personally: I have been married for almost 19 years, and have three daughters ages 16, 14, 11. I love camping with my family, and I can ride a tandem bike with my husband. It takes a lot of trust and teamwork to ride a tandem bike!
Professionally: My therapy style is to offer compassion, creativity, humor, approachability, and authenticity. I want my clients to feel comfortable and safe in therapy. In therapy sessions I come with an open-mind, curiosity, and willingness to meet you where you are at the moment. I treat caregivers as I would want to be treated, and children with the highest level of respect.
I have experience in working with children of all ages, families, and individuals who have experienced anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, and attachment issues.
License and Training: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Master’s of Art in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University (2015), trained in DC 0-5 (Diagnostic Assessments for children ages 0-5), Certified in TF-CBT.
